The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a dynamic Associate Attorney to join our team. Our ideal candidate is familiar with employment law and/or litigation in the state of California.
The role entails providing employment law advice and counsel and participating in all aspects of employment law litigation defense including drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, drafting discovery and review and analysis of responses, meaningfully participating in and contributing to overall strategy from case inception to completion, taking depositions, engaging in negotiations, legal research, and networking/marketing.
This position will require you to be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Our ideal candidate is analytical, data driven, forward-thinking, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and has an executive presence and strong leadership skills.

Schedule:
- Monday- Friday, typical workday is 7.5 – 8 hours
- Start/end times are flexible within the standard workday
- Opportunity for partial remote work

Skills and Experience Requirements:
- 0-2 years’ experience (employment law and/or litigation preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of court rules and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to escalate identified issues
- Strong sense of urgency and getting things done
- Strong sense of ownership of your role
- Internet & tech savvy
- Experience with Clio a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & auto insurance
